This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. – Jesus Christ as quoted in The Book of John
Genisis 6:5-10
Men were only thinking evil all the time! Can you believe that?! Who would do such a thing? Certainly not me & you…or would we? How often do we think about Jesus? We are supposed to live our whole day focused on & pleasing him. He is Lord.
Pray and admit to God how much you really focus on him & ask Jesus to destroy the power of evil in our lives and schools and families and friends.
Thank goodness there’s more to God than anger and punishment. Noah found grace with God…and so do we. Grace is getting what you don’t deserve and not getting what you deserve. Noah lived in this evil world but he was allowed to walk with God and even have his whole family saved from the coming flood.
Ask God for his mercy and grace to empower you to walk with him today and ask for his patience with your friends who ignore him so that you can show them how much he loves them.

I have realized my struggle with this recently. It's nothing new. Isaiah and Jeremiah wrote about the forgetfulness of God's people.
You have forgotten God your Savior; you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress.- Isaiah 17:10
Does a maiden forget her jewelry, a bride her wedding ornaments? Yet my people have forgotten me, days without number. -Jeremiah 2:32
But they also wrote that there will come a day when He will not be forgotten.
In that day men will look to their Maker and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel. They will not look to the altars, the work of their hands,- Isaiah 17:7-8
They will ask the way to Zion and turn their faces toward it. They will come and bind themselves to the Lord in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten. -Jeremiah 50:5
I pray that we are able to come to the truth that we CAN walk with Him.
The Bible gives a very simple testimony of a man who "walked with God."
"Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him." -Genesis 5:24
"For before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God." -Hebrews 11:5
